Cinnamon Maple Whiskey Sour
The first recipe is from a blog we like a lot. For the preparation you need a good bourbon and sweet, Canadian maple syrup. The outcome is a smooth and gentle cocktail, that even pleases people who normally don’t like to drink whiskey.
Ingredients for one cocktail
1 ½ ounces (3 tablespoons) Bulleit bourbon or your bourbon of choice
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) fresh lemon juice
2 to 4 teaspoons maple syrup, to taste (I like 3 teaspoons, which is the equivalent of ½ ounce or 1 tablespoon)
Pinch of ground cinnamon, optional
Fill a cocktail shaker or mason jar about two-thirds full of ice. Pour in the bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup and a pinch of ground cinnamon. Securely fasten the lid and shake well.
Pour fresh ice into your cocktail glass and strain the cold whiskey sour mixture into the glass.

Christmas whiskey cocktail recipes with Irish
There are plenty of Christmas whiskey cocktail recipes on the internet. Most use Bourbon whiskey though. Since we also really enjoy a good glass of Irish from time to time we decided to add a recipe that requires Irish instead of Bourbon whiskey. The recipe is very simple and is the perfect choice for everyone who also enjoys a good cup of coffee from time to time!
2 parts Irish Whiskey
1 part Kahlua coffee liqueur
½ part mint schnapps
Christmas Santa stick for decoration
Add the ingredients to a glass filled with ice. Now sit back, relax and enjoy.

A Christmas whiskey cocktail with Scotch
Warming, spicy and delicious: The Whiskey Mac is a classic cocktail, that has been around before cocktail bars opened up in every other street. For this traditional recipe you need a good Scotch, ginger wine, ice and some fresh ginger. The preparation is very easy: Just mix two parts of ginger wine with three parts of whiskey and pour the long drink over ice. Garnish it with some fresh ginger or with a decorative cinnamon and sugar rim. Enjoy the long drink along with your favorite shortbread or some traditional gingerbread.
