Let´s start the new year with a little review and have a close look at the best whiskies in 2017. Since there are a lot of awesome single malts, single grains and blends, we want to focus only on whiskies, that won an award at The World Whiskies Awards. Let´s go straight to the point!

A whisky, that commemorates John J. Bowman, one of Kentucky´s early settlers. The bourbon has a warm and sweet nose, that pleases you with caramel, leather and ripe figs. Also the palate is sweet and consists mainly out of vanilla and toffees.

Another great whisky from Japan! The Fuji-Gotemba Distillery Single Grain 25 YO Small Batch smells like sweet vanilla tarts and oatmeal. Its taste is woody and contain some spicy notes, fresh ground ginger, marzipan and more vanilla.
